Villagers killed Tigress : Forest officer watches helplessly

Raipur. Morning : After long running tigress was completely exhausted. Just 10 feet away from me as if he had surrendered in the exchange. Officer and his assistant understood the intentions of the violent crowd. He threw the net over tigeress. But someone threw a stone. Tigress ran again. But fate had something else. Some distance away, stuck in the swamp. Villagers then killed her with sticks. I first saw this event in 30 years of service. There were tears from my eyes and not speaking tongue was broken. Me and my partner ahead of the crowd were helpless. Rajnandgaon DFO and Ranger were also there, but did not dare to stop the violent mob. We all knew what happened with the tiger, could be with us. http://www.bhaskar.com/article/CHH-RAI-i-wept-he-ran-away---ran-away-and-was-tired-but-still-killed-2459142.html?HF-17=
